Unfortunately I cannot offer any refund on any bespoke pieces once payment has been made.
Materials and Quality
All headpieces are individually handmade using the highest quality materials. We pride ourselves on maintaining the highest possible standard of work and finish.
It is important to note that sinamay, silk, abaca, buntal, sisal, feathers and quills are natural products and therefore may not be of uniform shape or colour and imperfections may be present. Whilst every effort is made to maintain consistency in size, form and colour some small variations may occur, these are not flaws or faults but are typical characteristics of natural, hand woven and dyed components.
How to wear my headpiece?
It is usual to wear your hat or fascinator on the right side of your head. Any slant to the piece should be across your right eye.
Hairband or Elastic?
I recommend that for smaller pillbox style hats that you choose elastic, it is worn round the back of the head under your hair and secured with grips if needed.
Elastic allows you to position and re position the head piece, so it sits in the right place for you.
A hairband is better if you have very short hair. but does not allow much movement.
All elastic and hairbands come in variety of different colours to blend with your hair colour
Packaging
All items are sent in sturdy double walled cardboard boxes.
Your creation will be wrapped in acid free tissue paper in a branded hat box (if stated in the description) to protect it from any discolouration and becoming misshapen so it will last for many years to come.
